Media Relations for Connect Nigeria

Overview

  • Connect Nigeria Limited annual business fair was approaching and they needed to raise awareness as this was going to be the 7th edition of the fair, with this edition themed GROW GLOBAL.

  • This 7th edition scheduled for April 26th & 27th 2019 at the Tafawa Balewa Square Lagos,  would have key players from the economic, social, and technology sectors in attendance, also included were dedicated masterclasses to be facilitated by pioneers in various industries, with hundreds of businesses exhibiting their products and services.

  • Connect Nigeria realized that a different strategy for this event to be successful, and Phyllion was brought onboard.

  • For awareness, we officially introduced the edition to the media and then the public. We organized a press parley inviting key media houses to inform them of what the business fair was about and the opportunities it offered to businesses.

Growth of social media follower-ship by 200% in the first two months of our marketing promotions.
Increased awareness for the brand, leading to increase demand for product.
Customer education on product usage through videos, pictures and stories helped improve acceptance of the brand.
Increased recognition and earned media as a result of impactful content on digital media.
